Grape is used as fruit, food, juice, wine, and medicine.

Grape is used for preventing the following diseases:

  • heart disease
  • blood vessels
  • varicose veins
  • hemorrhoids
  • atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)
  • high blood pressure
  • heart attach
  • stroke

Grape seed is used for diabetes who are receiving problems such as

  • nerve and eye problems, improving wound healing, preventing tooth decay, preventing cancer, an eye disease called age-related macular degeneration (AMD), poor night vision, liver disorders, and hay fever.

the advantage of Grape is that it contains flavonoids, which can have antioxidant that might help to prevent heart disease such as:

  • lower the levels of low density lipoproteins (bad cholesterol), relax blood vessels, and reduce the risk of coronary heart disease

the disadvantage of Grapes is that the antioxidant does the following which helps to prevent:

  • kills the cancer cells but also will kills the good (life) cells as well
  • there isn’t enough evidence to show proof that grape seed can lower cholesterol(bad cholesterol).

Figs is used as food, fruits, wine, and desert

  • Prevent colon cancer
  • Protection against post-menopausal breast cancer
  • Good for diabetic patients

Figs contain vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, calcium, iron, phosphorus, manganese, sodium, potassium, chlorine fiber to help prevent the list above.

the advantage of figs is that Figs are rich in flavonoids and polyphenols:

  • These are antioxidants, which prevent the damages to the body
  • figs are low in fat & sugar, soothing, can be used as laxative

the disadvantage of figs is that too much figs can cause diarrhea.

  • Dried figs are high in sugar and might cause tooth decay.
